Opportunities Outside the Classroom
Lander’s RN-BSN program has given me a fast and affordable way to complete my education while working in the health care industry. I’ve been able to learn while doing what I love.
RN to BSN
Lander has provided me with a strong understanding of public health principles and helped me develop essential critical thinking skills. The encouragement from faculty and diverse courses has boosted my confidence as I prepare for a career in epidemiology.
Public Health
As soon as my feet hit the grounds of Lander University, I felt like I was home... Being on campus makes me feel like I can be myself and that I can be involved in so many things.
Nursing
The amazing training I received in ROTC will help ensure a successful career... (and after the Army) I will be able to use my exercise science degree to obtain a CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and get a good job.
Exercise Science
As Lander University honored its William Preston Turner School of Nursing graduates, Laura Lilia Gonzalez told the Class of 2025 that despite academic challenges and obstacles “our journeys show the dedication and passion every single person had” to achieve their goal of becoming a nurse.
