Common Style Modifications

  • Title Case: Capitalize the major words of the title. Leave minor words lowercase (e.g. short conjunctions, short prepositions and articles) unless they are the first word of the title.
  • University: Capitalize “the University” when it is used in reference to Lander University.
  • Seasons: Capitalize “fall,” “spring” and “summer” when they refer to specific academic semesters, e.g. “Fall 2024.”
