Media & Design

Make an impact with your messaging.

If you’re interested in a degree in digital media or graphic design, you probably have an eye for effective messaging. In the 21st-century age of technology and innovation, this is a vital skill.

In the Department of Media and Design, our faculty craft learning experiences that will help you put these skills to the test. Our graphic design students regularly collaborate with community partners to practice designing logos and other materials that help their products and services stand out among competitors. Meanwhile, our media faculty teach intriguing courses like video game theory, podcasting and emerging media that challenge students to practice storytelling in new and innovative ways. And through opportunities like the Digital Media Showcase and the B.Des. Senior Exhibition, you will have the chance to showcase your work, build your own portfolio and graduate ready for your future career.
