Awards are granted annually to outstanding university students from all disciplines during a ceremony each spring.
Lander University will proudly host the final event of the 2025 Lander Film Festival on Saturday, March 22, at 4:30 p.m. Admission to the Short Film Screening and Awards Ceremony will be free and the event will be open to the public.
Film enthusiasts and aspiring media professionals are invited to join in on a conversation with screenwriter Shelley Reid and actor Grainger Hines Friday, March 21, at 5 p.m. in the Barksdale Recital Hall at Lander University.
The Lander Film Festival will be celebrating its 15th anniversary and will be kicking off the week with a host of events. Dr. Misty Jameson, professor of English, will be discussing Monster Culture and the film director Roger Corman.
