NURS 240 - Physical Assessment |
This course focuses on nursing theory and practice in the physical assessment of the well individual. It emphasizes the physiologic variable and incorporates the psychological, sociocultural, spiritual, and developmental variables included in the Neuman Systems Model. Interviewing skills in obtaining a health history and physical assessment skills utilized in a physical examination are addressed. Prerequisites: "C" or better in NURS 165, NURS 232, and NURS 235. Three semester hours. (2,1).
