HIST 386 - Memory & Memorialization
MEMORY AND MEMORIALIZATION This course will explore how people have remembered and commemorated particular historical events and how memory and memorialization have shaped the political and social realms. It will focus on sites of memory and commemoration, such as museums and battlefields, and the contested nature of how human beings remember history. Prerequisite: ENGL 102 and any three-credit Behavioral and Social Perspectives general education course. Three credit hours.
