MUSI 317 - Methods of Teaching Instrument |
Basic principles of organization and administration of a complete school instrumental program at both the elementary and secondary level are addressed. Clinical observations in school settings are required. This is a required course for students pursuing music, K-12 certification with an instrumental emphasis. Students are introduced to the use of computer technology for classroom instruction. Prerequisites: MUSI 212, MUSI 214, HUMA 330, and EDUC 203. Offered in fall semester as needed. Three semester hours.
