MUSI 315 - Methods of Teaching Choral Mus
Basic principles of organization and administration of a complete school choral program at both the elementary and secondary level are addressed. Clinical observations in school settings are required. This is a required course for students pursuing music, K-12 teacher certification with a choral emphasis, and for students pursuing music, K-12 teacher certification with a keyboard emphasis. Students are introduced to the use of computer technology for classroom instruction. Prerequisites: MUSI 212, MUSI 214, HUMA 330, and EDUC 203. Offered in fall semester as needed. Three semester hours.
