HIST 322 - African History and Culture
An introduction to aspects of Black African history and culture through an examination of anthropological, literary and historical materials. Emphasis will be placed on values within different African societies, on the effects of imperialism and on twentieth century independence movements. Junior/senior status recommended. (General Education - Global Issues and Cultures and General Education Elective) Three semester hours.
