ENGL 345 - Introduction to Language |
This course surveys ways in which language has been studied, the tools used by linquists, how speakers learn first and subsequent languages, and how language reflects social issues such as gender, power, and ethnicity. Prerequisite: ENGL 102 with "C" or better OR permission of instructor. Three semester hours.
