EDUC 327 - Mathematics Pedagogy
This course explores problem-based teaching methods associated with the elementary curriculum strands for mathematics (number and operations, algebra, geometry, measurement, data analysis, and probability). Special emphasis is placed on instructional implementation of the NCTM Process Standards (problem solving, reasoning and proof, communication, connections, and representations). Prerequisite: Formal level status. Three semester hours.
