EDUC 309 - Global lssues in Education |
This course explores the way political, economic, social, and historical forces shape systems of education throughout the world. Particular emphasis is placed on comparing pedagogical practices across countries and cultures and how societies use educational systems to address modern issues such as globalization, technology, socioeconomic diversity, and poverty. (General Education - Global Issues and Cultures and General Education Electives) Three semester hours.
