PSYC 490 - Internship |
Interns work for a social/service agency or business for an average of eight hours per week for 13 weeks, performing various activities related to their particular career goals and emphases in psychology, e.g., testing, counseling, behavior modification, human resources, day care, elder care. Interns meet in class once per week and make formal presentations. Graded Pass/Fail. Prerequisites: PSYC 331 with a minimum of "C" and permission of the instructor. Three semester hours.
