CHEM 381 - Tech, the Environment and You |
Students are exposed to a variety of topics, such as air pollution, global warming, nuclear power, and fiber optics. The chemistry involved in understanding the topics is presented descriptively and qualitatively. The course examines the effects that these various topics have upon individuals and culture throughout the world. Junior/senior status recommended. (Global Issues/Non-Western Studies). Three semester hours.
