CHEM 402 - Physical Chemistry |
A theoretical and experimental study of observed chemical phenomena, atomic and molecular level interpretation of chemical behavior. Includes properties of gases, thermodynamics, kinetics, molecular structure via spectroscopic methods, and quantum mechanics. Three hours lecture, three hour laboratory weekly. Chem 401 is a prerequisite for CHEM 402. Four semester hours.
