HIST 322 - African History and Culture |
An introduction to aspects of Black African history and culture through an examination of anthropological, literary and historical materials. Emphasis will be placed on values within different African societies, on the effects of imperialism and on twentieth century independence movements. Junior/senior status recommended. (Global Issues/Non-Western Studies). Three semester hours.
