SOCI 314 - Social Welfare Pol & Programs
This course will examine the history of social welfare, including the values, beliefs, and attitudes that have shaped social welfare in the United States. The course will examine diverse social issues. he student will have the opportunity to address political and economic factors that affect social welfare policy. The student will also participate in developing a social project policy, carry out the policy and then evaluate the policy based on the act usage of the newly developed policy. Prerequisites: SOCI 101, with minimum grade of "C". Three semester hours.
