Nursing theory and practice to develop basic nursing strategies in assessment of health problems, diagnosis, nutrition, medication administration, and basic nursing interventions. Emphasizes nursing care skills essential to confort and meeting treatment needs, with opportunity for clinical practice. Prerequisites: "C" or better in NURS 165, NURS 232, NURS 235 and BIOL 203. Five semester hours. (3,6).
