SOCI 313 - Methods of Social Research
Logic and conduct of social research; relationships between theory and empirical evidence; formulation of hypotheses; conduct and analysis of structured field research; research design, with an emphasis on experimental, survey, and time-series designs; techniques for data collection and anlaysis; a lab component. Prerequisites: SOCI 101, SOCI 190 and 9 additional credit hours in sociology with a GPA of 2.25 or better in all sociology courses taken and a grade of "C" or better in MATH 211. Four semester hours.
